The HFAS1-XS20U builds on the basic design of the popular HFAS1-S10U by adding an X-Cluster SSD unit designed specifically to deliver high 2 TB storage capacity and the high level of quality required by audio applications.
This high-end fidata network audio server also utilizes a steel chassis that’s 3.2 mm thick for significantly higher rigidity so that it can deliver an even higher level of performance.
The X-Cluster SSD was developed specifically for the HFAS1-XS20U.
This cluster stripes data uniformly across two SSDs. The resulting ability to access data uniformly across all SSDs in the cluster smooths the load on the power supply load by limitingdeviations in power consumption. In addition, the HFAS1-XS20U features a pair of dedicated linear power conditioners that provide clean power.

These Cat 6A LAN cables, which are designed specifically for use in audio applications, feature an MFP8 RJ45 shielded, gold-plated plug by Telegärtner Japan Limited. Concentric-cross-section cabling with a diameter of 7 mm holding No. 26 AWG grade conductors made of gold-plated oxygen-free copper (OFC) are separated into a series oftwisted pairs, and a reversible design ensures the cables are easy toinstall.
Subjected to a rigorous, 100% inspection at a certified plant in Japan to ensure that they meet our quality standard, these cables deliver exceptional transmission quality.

These USB 2.0 cables for audio applications feature gold-plated USB connectors and implement the USB 2.0 High Speed specification. Each USB connector features a machined aluminum enclosure that provides weight to limit minuscule vibrations that could affect the connection.
